I saw the ad in the New York Times:Maybetheresababy

It says "Maybe there’s a baby" and then suggests that you should get one of those $3000 "stack" rings (this model evidently transferred more embryos than the law allows; I think she’s wearing four) for each and every bundle o’ joy.  How unfair, that she gets the baby AND the bling.

If Tiffany were smarter, they’d market for the real "maybe there’s a baby/turns out there wasn’t" demographic; in that parallel universe I’ve got three coming and I know some of y’all barely have enough fingers for all your diamond "celebration" rings (sapphire for boys, pink diamond for girls, yellow for the negative POAS, red for the miscarriage).  It’s another one of Life’s Celebrations: "Tell her you’d lose a baby with her all over again" or better still: "Let her know it probably wasn’t the Brie."
